Can Indian invest in US Real estate Investment trust (REIT), If so what is the proceedure for the same?

Please advice on the same.

Investing in a REIT is like investing in the stock market. Yes foreigners may invest in these type trust.

There are several type or REIT to select from. You would have to select the one that best suit your investment goals. You would also want to see the track record of the trust, as well as the Trust Manager and his/her tract record.
